Now in its fourth year, this expanded illumination event transforms Himeji's downtown with approximately 510,000 LED lights connecting Himeji Station, Otemae Street, and Himeji Castle. Designed by world-renowned lighting designer Mikiko Ishii, the display features a 2.5-kilometer corridor of light with thematic elements including a white heron photo spot, cloud sea lighting at Sakumon Bridge, and a water mirror installation at the castle's Ninomaru Plaza. The theme "Atara-yo" (a night too beautiful to end) celebrates the region's cultural heritage through immersive nighttime experiences.
