POP UP BOX “Manga Japanese Folktales Exhibition – Once Upon a Time, Long Ago…” 2026

Date & Time September 18, 2026 (Friday) – October 25, 2026 (Sunday), 11:00–19:30 Venue Azabudai Hills Gallery Space (Garden Plaza A B1F, Azabudai Hills, 5-8-1 Toranomon, Minato-ku, Tokyo) Event Overview A POP UP BOX commemorating the 50th anniversary of the nationally beloved anime “Manga Japanese Folktales” will be held at Azabudai Hills Gallery Space. Admission is free. The event will feature the first exhibition of a 6-meter-tall three-dimensional work of a dragon and child used on stage, a 1.8-meter “Ningen tte Ii na” photo spot, and digital signage supporting six languages. Original goods will also be sold, and customers who spend 5,000 yen (tax included) or more will receive the picture book “Gon, the Little Fox” on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, the adjacent gallery café will offer a total of seven collaboration menu items exclusive to this exhibition.
